TPCRC also administers the TPCRC Community Small Grants Program. Find out more information here.
Through community consultations, a 5-Year Plan was developed which is intended to provide a general context for neighbourhood revitalization and development. Our 6 priority areas include:
1. Crime & Safety
2. Parks & Recreation
3. Housing
4. Physical Environment/Image and Pride
5. Community Economic Development
6. Community Wellness and Wellbeing
In order to address these priorities we work with the community to bring together resources, money, and people to work together at making our community a better place to live. We know that in order for community development to be successful it has to be community led, community driven, and most importantly community supported.
TPCRC organizes community projects which include: Annual Street Festival, Canada Day Celebrations, Santa Claus Parade, Be a Santa to a Senior, Tickled Pink Day, and a monthly Community Calendar. We partner with various organizations and service groups for events and projects. We offer our Small Grants Funding Program to support community projects up to $5,000.00. Non-profit groups, community-based organizations, and local groups are welcome to apply. The purpose of the Small Grants Program is to bring people together and respond to the priorities of TPCRC and community.
